Wavelet Systems offers rapid Innovation engagements to quickly identify, prototype and test the solution space for existing product upgrades or next generation products. Sometimes, when there are no clear solutions the technology company wonders; “Can it even be done?” We are experts in proving new technology works in products and have been asked this question many times before in internal meetings.
Rapid Innovation engagements consist of deploying parallel user and technical work streams to explore solutions that address user and technical challenges. We typically break the problem down by user steps, and brainstorm technical and user solutions for each step first, then begin to stitch together potential architectures, using the solutions for each step.
New Product Development
Wavelet Systems is a product development firm capable of translating your product requirements set to a finished design ready for manufacturing transfer. We then develop alpha and beta prototypes, maturing the design to point where manufacturing transfer is initiated, and verification and validation activities commence.
Subsystem Development
Clients enjoy working with Wavelet Systems, particularly when our team dovetails into their existing client teams. Our team provides a fresh perspective to the overall program, while focusing on the subsystem of interest. Subsystem Development engagements are for when you have an existing design team running a program, but you may need extra bandwidth or expertise to augment your team.
We typically develop design specifications for the subsystem(s) of interest, that trace up to the requirements provided by our customers. We then own the design and associated documentation for the subsystem, following our internal quality system protocols. Upon completion, the design ownership is then transferred back to the client or to a selected contract manufacturer.
